Animated “Arts and Gardens” day – June 1, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

During the “Parks and Gardens of Wallonia” weekend, our guide will take you to most beautiful Gallo-Roman gardens in Wallonia! Discover some 300 plant species in the mosaic garden plots and the reconstructed vegetable garden.

Did you know that it was our Roman ancestors who introduced the idea of pleasure gardens to our region? Do you know the types of vegetables that flourish in the vegetable garden designed after the Roman model in Malagne? Be there on June 1 to come across with this!

Also attend the performance of prose, poetry and songs on the theme “We must cultivate our garden”, organized in collaboration with the “Centre culturel des Roches”.

On top of all this and with attendance of artist and tree sculptor Xavier Rijs this, you will have the opportunity to discover the temporary exhibition “Books of the Earth”.
