The experimental archaeology and the reconstruction of a number of buildings have turned Malagne into an extremely realistic and educational site teeming with history which manages to convey to its visitors the importance of such an estate. The reconstructed buildings and tools have been validated by a well-defined scientific framework.<\/p>\n<p>The main building, the thermae, and, the secondary building were consolidated. The two reconstructed outbuildings make it easier for visitors to apprehend the actual size of the buildings while immersing them in the Gallo-Roman world.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the building called \u201dEpona\u201d is a reconstruction of a barn and stable, which served a number of different purposes, while the building named \u201cVulcain\u201d houses a working forge.<\/p>\n<p>Reconstructions of smaller structures built with wood, rammed earth or wattle and daub, but also a kitchen, a bread oven, a pottery oven and a low shaft furnace etc. complete the illustration of everyday Gallo-Roman life.
