“Heritage Days” – September 12 and 13 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

As part of the Heritage Days, the Gallo-Roman Villa of Malagne opens its doors free of charge to the public on September 12 and 13.

Malagne – Rochefort Archeopark is a unique site in Wallonia, preserving the remains of a vast 1st-century AD Gallo-Roman villa.

Protected as a monument and landscape, the archaeological site became, in 1996, an interpretation center dedicated to rural Gallo-Roman civilization. As a living museum and learning site, it offers visitors an immersive experience while highlighting the estate’s heritage, cultural, and natural richness.

On September 12 and 13, visitors are invited to discover the Malagne archaeological site accompanied by a cultural mediator.

Extend your visit with a creative clay-working activity by making a pottery vessel, hand-crafted and built with clay coils, just as our ancestors once did.

Program
11:00 a.m.: Visit of the Malagne archaeological site;
From 1:30 p.m.: Clay coils pottery crafting

Admission fees : Free for all visitors
