“The Gallo-Roman Summer Gathering” – July 11 and 12 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Ready to embark on a journey through time and travel 2,000 years back into history?

On July 11 and 12, 2026, the Gallo-Roman Villa of Malagne invites you to the Gallo-Roman-Meeting, a weekend dedicated to discovering Antiquity in an exceptional natural setting.

Throughout the weekend, stroll among Celtic and Roman encampments, discover the daily life of soldiers, explore ancient crafts, take part in creative workshops, or test your skills at Roman archery.

This anniversary edition also celebrates the horse, with spectacular equestrian jousts presented by the associations Les Portes de l’Histoire and Corpus Equitum Legionis X Equestris.

The highlight comes on Saturday evening, July 11. To celebrate Malagne’s 30th anniversary, an exceptional show unfolds at dusk, featuring Celtic music, gladiator combats, a druidic ceremony, and a fire spectacle.

On Sunday, a museum square will be set up. Thanks to the presence of around ten partner museums, a wide range of historical activities will be offered.

A must-see event for the whole family, with entertainment, encounters, and a journey to straight into the heart of the Gallo-Roman world.
